Keyboard Concepts has been Southern California's "go-to" music purveyor since 1983. We're proud to support amateur and professional musicians in every way we can. That's why the Yamaha Music School at our Sherman Oaks location is so important to us.

The Yamaha Music Education System virtually has something for every one. With innovative piano lessons for children through adults, Yamaha's programs are designed to meet the unique needs and abilities for beginner through advanced students. The method combines a comprehensive curriculum with a fun, engaging classroom environment to promote a strong, well-rounded educational foundation.

The Junior Music Course (ages 4-5) and the Young Musicians Course (ages 6-8) focus on introducing music fundamentals, enriching the musical experience and enhancing the student's creative capabilities.

Adult classes were developed for those who have always wanted to play or those who want to get back to playing. Our Recreational Music Making program (RMM) brings you the pleasure of playing without the pressure of evaluations and recitals.

What Parents Are Saying About Us:

"My Daughter is Excited to Attend Classes."
My 11 year old daughter has been attending Mrs Rita's piano class for the last two years. She has excelled with Mrs Rita's teaching style and is excited to attend the classes weekly as well as practice at home. I highly recommend this class.

"I Wish I Had A Piano Like Miss Rita When I Was A Kid."
Miss Rita keeps the class lively and fun. She is a very gifted teacher and while she is very patient with the kids, she is good at keeping them focused. I love that the kids get regular opportunities to do solos, even if they are 30 second solos. I know many people think that there is no substitute for individual lessons, but I feel these lessons are far more than strictly piano lessons. They are also music appreciation classes, listening classes, music reading etc. I am so glad my daughter has been able to do this and we hope she will continue. Oh, and she really enjoys the classes too.
